After forty years of entirely devoting myself to the development of others, I now find myself exploring once again my own creative spirit.
I am essentially a sculptural artist, trained in the art of the hidden environment - what the mind ’sees and understands’.
I studied at Wolverhampton in the sixties, gaining a first class honours degree. I once spent a whole morning sitting at a table on a busy traffic island in the centre of Wolverhampton. The piece of work, called, "A Portable Excuse For A Smoke," caused quite a stir back in the late sixties! (zoom in on picture- I'm there!!)
Six years ago I started tentatively in redeveloping my own creativity, but I’m now gaining momentum and really enjoying myself, recently completing a large commission for ’Tufton Oceanic’ in Douglas.
In a recent shared exhibition called ’Visual Elements’ along with my wife, I was able to exhibit original pieces in my ’first’ exhibition in too long a time. My previous exhibitions were at the Institute Of Contemporary Arts, London and a one man show in The Ikon Gallery, Birmingham.
